As a professional children's theater director, Jenni enjoys teaching/speaking to teens about writing and inspiring them to follow their dreams. She has done everything from large school assemblies, to small classroom settings, to library workshops w/combined classes or bookclubs.

Jenni's humorous, informative classes include, but are not limited to:

~A brief bio of her and how writing has changed her life.

~Discussion of the group's favorite books and why it's cool to read.

~A reading from her current manuscript.

~An entertaining word game, meant to inspire and show teens how they have the power to change a whole book with one word.

~Questions and Answers--anything and everything they'd like to know about becoming published, or secrets to writing.

~Writing Exercise the teacher(s) can use as a class project the following day. (Teens will need pen & paper)

~Prizes/Giveaways (and treats tossed throughout to keep them interested.)

~Another brief round of questions and signings.

~If there is anything specific you'd like her to cover, just let Jenni know and she'll be sure to include it. 

Due to the flexibility of the layout, her classes run from 30-90 min, depending on what is needed.

Pricing-- FREE! All she asks, is that your school buy a few copies of her current YA book. 1-2 for their library/classroom and 1-2 for a giveaway during the class/essembly.  She feels it's important the teens see the actual book during the class and realize this dream of being published, can be theirs too.  Jenni's publisher supports her goal in helping as many kids get inspired for literacy as possible, which is why they offer significant discounts for schools.  Please contact her managing director:
